Abstract:

This paper presents a new modified direct torque control of doubly fed induction motor using fuzzy logic controller, which new fuzzy logic controller is used instead the classic integral proportional (IP or PI) controller. The validity of the proposed control algorithm is veriļ¬ed by simulation studies on a 0.8kW DFIM system, which many parameters performances have been studied. The proposed fuzzy logic controller has shown better performances compared to the conventional PI controller overcoming their limitations and its implementation complexity.
